Actress Kajal Aggarwal Takes 15% Stake in Okie Gaming Platform

Kajal Aggarwal has taken a 15% stake in Mꦍumbai-💞based Okie Gaming with an undisclosed investment.

Aggarwal will also join the company as a board member. Jitin Masand founded Okie Gaming as a division of Okie Ventures, where A𝔉ggarwal was a brand ambassador.

Commenting on her investment, Aggarwal said: "The gaming൩ industry is booming at this time, th🔥is is the right moment to be part of it. A passionate gamer myself, we hope to bring the finest user experience with our innovative and quirky games. With Okie Gaming, I also hope to influence and open new avenues for women gamers in India."

Jitin Masand, managing director of O⛎kie Ventures, added: "We are excited to welcome Kajal into the Okie family as a strategic partner. Kajal's personal interest in the gaming industry, wide reach and appeal will help the brand scale up to a much higher level. She is an involved investor who brings a unique set of ideas and insights to Okie Gaming."

Masand also said the company will rele✨ase 25 games by the end of December and expects to have 1 million downloads and 100,000 regular users by then.

Aggarwal is not the first Indian film face to get involved with the online gaming space. Back in June, Games24x7 launche🅘d a new digital campaign with Bollywood sta🀅rs including Aparshakti Khurana, Varun𓆏 Sharma, Vir Das, and Manjot Singh.
