Gaming Start-Up EWar in Notable Coup as Satya Mahapatra to Advise Company

Fledgi🉐ng gaming start-up EWar has announced the notable signing of industry veteran Satya Mahapatra as an advisor.

Mahapatra will bring more than 15 years of experience in launching and developing gaming start-ups🗹 in India, tꦑhe US, and the UK to the Bengaluru-based business.

Formerly the ch♒ief marketing of𒅌ficer of skill gaming company Junglee Games, Mahapatra has also held key stakeholder roles at Gamesys Limited (UK) and Party Gaming, which is now part of global gaming giant GVC.

In a press release, Mahapatra said about EWar: "Capitalising on the rising popularity of competitive gaming in India, EWar now wants to strengthen its roots i𓄧n India, position itself as a leading, go-to-destination for e-sports enth✃usiasts in India, and eventually take Indian e-sports players to the global levels."

EWar is a new entrant 🍨to esports in India, with a vernacular app where players can compete against each other across various games to earn money in one-on-one battles, leagues, and in tournaments.

It recently raised US$200,000 (approx. Rs. 1.5 crores) i🍌n funding from angel🐎 investors.
