Prominent online game develop🐼er and publisher, Garena, has announced a partnership with Paytm First Games to host the first Free Fire India Solos (FFIS) 2020 tournament.
The FFIS will 𒀰see professional and casual players of 2019’s most downloaded mobile game fight for the title of India’s best individual Free Fire player, plus cash prizes, from their own homes.
Set to take place in May and June of this y🎀ear, the FFIS will have two legs – a Masters and a Streamer Showdown. Registrations open in early May, with the prize pool to be announced closer to the start of the competition.
The tournament is open to all players in India but will impose a minimum in-game level restrictio🎐n in the hope of eliminating those using hacks, an🦂d to ensure fair gameplay.
The Masters leg hopes to have 20,000 players competing in a qualifier round for a league stage. The top 12 players from the leag🐬ue will then battle it out in the grand finale.
The FFIS Streamer Showdown will inv𒊎ite 48 leading streamers from across India to compete.
Esports fans can catch the action for free. All the league stage and final matches for the Masters, and the Streamer Showdown events, will be live-streamed on Garena Free Fire’s official YouTube and꧑ Facebook pages. Likewise, Paytm will host the action on their apps and YouTube channel.
