After getting information about illegal gambling dens and the activities surrounding it, Nashik Police booked 60 🌞people for the same and also seized cash and articles worth more than Rs 90,000.
According to a Times of India report, few people were indulged in Matka gambling and👍 card games which are against the Public Gambling Act, 1867. The Crime Branch police arrested the pᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚeople with the cases coming under the jurisdictions of Bhadrakali, Adgaon, Mhasrool, Panchavati and Gangapur police stations.
The police were intimated about the illegal businesses in various parts of t൲he city and police commissioner Deepak Pandey had instructed the crime branch to detect such 🤡illegal business dens and take action against them.
The crime branch unit 1, led by police inspector Ananda 🦹Wagh and assistant police inspꦯector Mahesh Kulkarni, took the action under the guidance of commissioner Pandey, deputy police commissioner (crime) Sanjay Barkund and assistant police commissioner (crime) Mohan Thakur.
The culprits has now been forwarded to the court.
