India's online rummy industry's self-regulatory body, The Rummy Federation (TRF), has changed its name to The Online Rummy Federation (TORF) as part of its new🐼 brand identity.
The rebranding is part of the organisation's vis🥃ion to build a comprehensive 🌠self-regulatory ecosystem for online rummy, which continues to grow in the country.
TORF will continue to stand for ensuring responsible gameplay, a fair playing environment, and best practices for creating safe and secure platforms for ಞboth players and operators.
The federation has also announced a revamp to its Dynamic Seal logo, awarded to select online rummy operators who h🅘ave been certified as complying with their s🐈tringent code of conduct
Sameer Barde, CEO of The Online Rummy Federation, said: "As games of skill continue to shift to online versions, ꦉwe recognise the need to make the online rummy industry more credible and transparent. Our new corporate identity and brand logo embody the spirit of the federation and represent the continued commitment towards comprehensive self-regulation and to ensure a responsible, secure, and fair gaming experience for the players. Even though our name is changing, our purpose to provide wholesome entertainment and ethical gaming to players remains the same."

This news comes just a day after online rummy received more criticism, with PMK party founder Dr S. Ramado𒁃ss deওmanding a ban on the pastime.
